Total Hip Neck Component
The neck component connects the ball to the stem. It attaches the
ball to the stem by increasing the size of its base, creating a collar
region which connects to the stem. Femoral neck fractures are a common
area of fractures in the hip joint,thus replacement joints need to be
durable to handle the increased stress experienced in that region.
