Total Hip Ball Component
The ball component replaces the functionality of the femoral head. The ball is located on the top of the stem which is called neck. The femoral ball is usually made from either ceramic or metal. The ball fits inside the cup, and provides the motions similar to the ball and socket joint in the human body.
